Top 5 Antivirus programs

We get a lot of questions about which Antivirus program is the best, or which one we would advise the customer to buy. This blog would answer these questions. Based on research, feedback and our own experience with these programs, we have created a top 5 ranking for Antivirus programs. You can also read  further the description of each software.

The top 5 Antivirus programs: 

This ranking is based on 3 different aspects: research, feedback and our own experiences. These aspects result in the following top 5 Antivirus programs: 

1. Bitdefender
2. Norton
3. McAfee
4. ESET
5. Panda Dome

Bitdefender: 

Bitdefender is the best Antivirus program in our opinion. This is a Cybersecurity Software. Bitdefender offers products for individual use, but also family packages. The family packages ensure that your children have a safe experience on the internet. Next to that, Bitdefender also offers products, specifically made for business use. Bitdefender scores really well on security tests. This brand has the goal to offer the user the safest experience possible. 

Norton: 

Norton is the number 2 antivirus program in this list. It has various different versions, such as Standard, Deluxe and Premium. This, of course, has variating prices that go with the different versions. There are no significant differences between the Deluxe and Premium versions, apart from the storage and the number of devices it can be used on. The latter can vary between 1 and 10 devices, depending on the version. 

McAfee: 

The number 3 in our list is McAfee. McAfee is a computer security company which offers various versions of security products. These are Internet Security, Total Protection and LiveSafe. The different versions have various security purposes. The software can also  be used on different number of devices. All programs  are all useable for 1 year, which means that you would have to buy the product again after 1 year.  

ESET: 

ESET is the number 4 in this ranking. ESET is a Slovakian company that offers antivirus and security suites for individuals and businesses. There are quite a lot of different versions available: Mobile Security, NOD32 Antivirus, Internet Security and Smart Security Premium. The main differences among these versions consist in the number of devices and years the ESET product can be used for.  

Panda Dome: 

Last but not least, in our list is Panda Dome. Similar to the other products in this list, Panda Dome is a security software. There are a lot of different versions available, such as Premium, Advanced, Essential and Complete. Within these versions, there are differences in the number of devices and the number of years the license can be used for.
